At VBS this year, kids will be challenged as they discover that God's truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!

What activities will children participate in during VBS?

Worship & Bible Study

There will be VBS worship in the Sanctuary each morning. In Bible Study, children will be learning that God's truth never changes!

Crafts

Each day, children will complete a craft that is fun to create and helps them remember what they are learning in Bible Study!

Recreation

Recreation is a great time for children to play and get their energy out during VBS! The games relate back to what they are learning in Bible Study!

Meal/Snacks

Children will receive a meal and snacks throughout the time at VBS each day. Please be sure to let us know your child's allergies when you register/sign up!

Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I drop off and pick up my child?

For 1st-6th graders, drop off and pick up will be in the same location. Children should be dropped off in the breezeway between the Sanctuary and the CAC (gym).

Preschoolers should be dropped off in the reception room. They will be picked up in their classrooms.

Will my child be fed?

Yes! Every child will be fed lunch each day free of charge. Please contact us if your child has any dietary or allergy restrictions.

What should I send with my child each day?

Just their Bible, appropriate attire (i.e. tennis shoes), and a good attitude!

What if I register my child and then they are unable to attend?

Since we have limited spots, please contact us or let Mrs. Nikki know as soon as possible if your child cannot attend so that the spot can be given to a different child.

What happens if I try to register and it's full?

Each age group will have a maximum registration number due to space and safety limitations. Register as soon as possible to ensure your child gets a spot. Since our numbers are limited...if you have registered your child and they can no longer attend, please contact Mrs. Nikki as soon as possible at 256-453-1731.

How can I help make VBS a success?

Respecting the drop off (8:10-8:25) and pick up times (12:30), supporting the teachers/leadership, spreading the word and information about VBS, and following up with your child(ren) about what they learned each day. Last but not least, pray that each person who participates in VBS will experience the love of Christ and begin a personal relationship with Him.

What Age Group is VBS For?
