WORSHIP NURSERY CARE - Amber Harrell, Deborah Westbrook, Christina Sotelo, Cy & Jana Butterworth, Angie & Brian McVeigh, Kaye King

MISSIONS MOMENT

Kathleen Mallory served as Corresponding/ Executive Secretary for WMU from 1912 to 1948. She led WMU through the Great Depression, tow world wars, and the depths of denominational debt for 36 years. Born in Selma, Alabama, she was quick to give God the glory and to lead out in offering prayers of thanksgiving after gifts were received for missions, projects completed, or tasks were accomplished. She thought of prayer as a Christian’s deepest joy and the highest form of Christian service.

Pray for our offering goal of $5,000.00.

A DISCIPLESHIP FALL BIBLE STUDY, A Better, “More Excellent Way,” an inductive, in-depth study of the book of Hebrews, a miniature Old Testament in the New Testament, begins Sunday, September 19, for 8 weeks, after evening worship in the Reception Room. Harold Hobbs will be teaching.

YOU ARE INVITED EXPERIENCE The Explorations in Antiquity Center, in LaGrange, Georgia, on Tuesday, September 21. For details pick up a copy of Traveling in the office lobby or see Bro. Jim’s Board.
