The Preschool Department at Golden Springs Baptist Church is a great place for you and your child to begin to develop a spiritual understanding of God.  Our teachers help them to do this through Bible thoughts, Bible stories, Bible coversation, songs and activities.  The activities are built around 8 areas:

  • God
  • Bible
  • Jesus
  • Self
  • Family
  • Others
  • Church
  • Natural World

Your child is very special to us and our goal is to provide them with the safest, healthiest and happiest enviroment possible.  Children are placed in classes and taught according to their age and ability.

Preschool Activities

SUNDAY:

 

 

Sunday School 9:15 a.m.

 

Sunday School is a program for children of all ages.  Activities are designed to teach your preschooler Bible truths.  Lessons and activiites are geared to the development level of each age group as they learn about God, Jesus, the Bible the church, the family, themselves, and the natural world.  Bringing a preschooler to Sunday School is one of the most important things a parent can do for a child.

 

Worship Care/ Extended Teaching Care 10:30 a.m.

 

Extended Teaching Care is a ministry of care and teaching for preschoolers.  It is an extension of Sunday School.  Parent who have preschoolers are expected to share in this responsibility. 

 

Discipleship 5:00 p.m. Sunday Night

 

Discipleship is a time when preschoolers learn about Jesus.  Discipleship uses a variety of approaches to teach Bible truths.

 

Wednesday:

 

MPAC - Missions and Musical Praise at Church

 

Preschool Choir  5:15p.m Sept - May / Ages 3 (by 9/1 of each school year) - kindergarten

 

Preschool choir provides a foundation in both musical and spiritual education.  It provides opportunities for singing and activities with musical instruments.

 

Our Preschool Choirs will be performing on Wednesday, May 5, 2010.

Mission Friends 6:00 p.m. Ages 2 (by 9/1 of each school year) - kindergarten

 

Mission friends provides mission education for our preschoolers.  These sessions provide hands-on missions experience for preschoolers and teaches them about missionaries and what it is like to be involved in mission work.

 

Summer Activities 6:00 p.m. Ages 2 (by 9/1 of the previous year) - kindergarten

 

This is a fun filled time of learning about the Bible using activities, stories, games and crafts.
